Business Analyst: Labeling Systems Consolidation Project
Remote | Contract, Part-Time (up to 20 hrs/week) | 2-Month Engagement
Pay: $60-75/hr

Our client is a well-established, global organization in the midst of a major transformation of its enterprise labeling infrastructure. With operations spanning multiple countries and business units, the organization is investing heavily in standardizing and modernizing the systems that support its global supply chain.

WHY THIS ROLE

This is a fast-start, high-impact contract opportunity to lay the documentation foundation for a major systems consolidation program. Requirements-gathering conversations across the program have just begun, and nothing has been formally documented yet. We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst who can step in immediately, work independently, and deliver a complete set of foundational documentation within a focused, 2-month window. This is a remote, part-time engagement with flexible scheduling (up to 20 hours per week), making it a strong fit for an experienced BA looking for meaningful, well-scoped contract work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

* Partner directly with the program's project lead to capture and document requirements across a multi-year, global labeling systems consolidation initiative
* Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders across Manufacturing, Quality/Regulatory, Packaging/Labeling Operations, and IT
* Document current-state ("as-is") processes across 9-10 legacy labeling systems
* Define future-state ("to-be") requirements for the new consolidated labeling platform
* Produce a complete set of foundational program documentation, including requirements documents, process maps, gap analysis, data mapping, and test scripts
* Work across the full scope of the program rather than a single site or phase
* Coordinate closely with the assigned Project Manager and the platform implementation partner to keep documentation aligned with the overall program plan
* Operate independently and move quickly from day one, given the compressed engagement timeline

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Proven Business Analyst experience: requirements gathering, current-state/future-state process mapping, and gap analysis
* Demonstrated ability to jump in and contribute immediately 
* Comfortable working directly with cross-functional stakeholders (Manufacturing, Quality/Regulatory, Operations, IT) to extract and document requirements
* Strong documentation skills; deliverables must be clear, accurate, and hold up to program-level and executive scrutiny
* Ability to manage a flexible, part-time schedule (up to 20 hours/week) while meeting a fixed engagement deadline
* Comfortable working in a fully remote capacity

BONUS SKILLS / OPPORTUNITY TO GROW

* ERP or enterprise systems implementation BA experience (not required)
* Exposure to labeling, packaging, or regulatory compliance processes (e.g., FDA, EU MDR)
* Experience with process mapping or data mapping tools such as Visio
