ERP Analyst – Infor LX / IBM i

Location: Springfield, Missouri
Salary: $85,000–$95,000

The organization is seeking an ERP Analyst to maintain, support, and enhance the business systems that are critical to its daily operations.

WHY THIS ROLE

As ERP Analyst, you will serve as a key resource for the company’s Infor LX ERP environment and its integrated manufacturing, warehouse management, reporting, and document-processing applications.

This is a hands-on role that combines ERP administration, user support, SQL reporting, system security, application maintenance, and coordination with outside technical resources. You will have the autonomy to solve problems, improve processes, and help employees use the company’s business applications more effectively.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Maintain and support the company’s Infor LX ERP system and integrated business applications
Respond to user requests and troubleshoot application-related issues
Answer questions and provide guidance regarding software functionality, menus, and system options
Identify, coordinate, and schedule software training for users
Submit support cases to software vendors and follow through until issues are resolved
Coordinate with outside technical resources and provide clear programming specifications
Use SQL to develop ad hoc and specialized reports, extract data, and validate information
Create and maintain business forms using Compleo
Maintain and refresh the software test environment as required
Assist users with identifying, manipulating, exporting, and importing critical data, including bills of materials and pricing information
Create and maintain Webtop analytical dashboards, data, and views
Maintain and create IDF objects, views, subsets, and sorts
Correct errors and maintain LX, MES, and Touchpath databases
Maintain and create HelpSystems Robot jobs, ensuring daily, weekly, monthly, and annual processes complete successfully and reports are distributed
Create and maintain user profiles, credentials, and application security for LX, MES, Touchpath, and related systems
Organize and maintain system documentation, procedures, scripts, and other technical records
Monitor IBM iSeries data backups and confirm successful completion
Restore archived data when needed
Order user supplies, including labels and related materials
Coordinate and work with technical support resources during scheduled off-hours maintenance
Support ERP installations, configurations, patches, upgrades, and change-management activities

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or four to five years of applicable IT experience
Functional knowledge of Infor LX ERP and the ability to maintain the system and support user requirements
Experience using SQL to create reports and analyze, research, and validate data
Strong troubleshooting, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to explain technical processes clearly to end users and outside consultants, both verbally and in writing
Experience working with IT service providers regarding contracts, services, support, or software licensing
Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and expand your knowledge through hands-on experience
Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
