WHY THIS ROLE

As Data Solutions Team Lead, you will lead and mentor a growing team of software developers and data engineers building the organization's data pipelines, integrations, and enterprise applications from the ground up. This newly created Data Solutions Team Lead position reports directly to the VP of Data Analytics and offers a rare opportunity to pair technical credibility with real leadership impact as the organization modernizes its ERP and enterprise data infrastructure.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

* Lead and mentor a small team of  developers and a data engineer, overseeing day-to-day delivery, priorities, and project coordination.
* Take ownership of the organization's largest technology initiatives, including enterprise system integration tied to a recent acquisition, migration to a modern Azure cloud suite, and ERP data integration.
* Partner with the VP of Data Analytics to translate business priorities into clear, executable technical delivery plans.
* Serve on the ERP platform selection committee alongside business stakeholders, then lead data implementation and integration into existing and new business processes once a platform is chosen.
* Enforce established enterprise architecture, data, and security standards across the team's integration and application work.
* Oversee the generation and support of analytics, reporting, and Power Apps solutions used by business stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
* Guide the extraction and migration of data from core ERP systems into modern data warehouse and Lakehouse environments, ensuring clean, trustworthy data for downstream developers and analysts.
* Collaborate with project coordination resources and cross-functional stakeholders to keep delivery on track and minimize rework.

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

* 7 to 10+ years of experience in software, data, or enterprise application engineering, including progression from a hands-on developer role into technical leadership, with proven experience leading and mentoring a team of engineers.
* Experience with enterprise application integrations, including extracting and migrating data from ERP systems into modern data warehouse or Lakehouse environments to support downstream reporting and development.
* Hands-on technical credibility with modern cloud data platforms such as Azure, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, or similar data pipeline and Lakehouse technologies.
* Experience overseeing or supporting enterprise analytics, reporting, and Power Apps development.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business priorities into technical delivery plans.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored visa support, now or in the future.

BONUS SKILLS / OPPORTUNITY TO GROW

* Familiarity with business or accounting terminology and how it maps to ERP financial data.
* Experience with GitHub and DevOps practices for engineering team standards.
* Interest in shaping enterprise data platform strategy as the team and its tooling continue to mature.
