Power Systems Service Supervisor North Syracuse, NY

In this role, you'll oversee daily service operations supporting power generation systems, marine engines, and industrial engines. You'll lead a team of skilled technicians, ensure customer expectations are exceeded, and drive a culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Schedule and assign work for shop and field service technicians
- Build customer relationships
- Monitor workflow and ensure timely completion of customer repairs and maintenance
- Lead, coach, and develop technicians through ongoing performance management
- Support technicians with complex diagnostics and repair challenges
- Open, manage, review, and invoice work orders
- Partner with customers to define repair scopes, communicate updates, and ensure satisfaction
- Analyze equipment issues and maintain detailed service records
- Collaborate with internal teams, including finance and operations, to support business objectives
- Conduct safety audits and enforce safety policies and best practices
- Maintain accurate customer files and operational documentation
What We're Looking For
- Associate degree in Diesel Technology, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered
- Preferred experience in power generation, industrial engines, marine engines, or a related industry
- Previous supervisory or management experience leading service teams
- Strong technical knowledge of generators, engines, and related equipment
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with technicians, customers, and internal stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management software
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
- Customer-focused mindset with a sense of urgency and commitment to service excellence
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary: $80,000-$90,000, plus bonus, commensurate with experience
