Are you a leader with a passion for power generation and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service? An established and growing equipment solutions provider is seeking a Power Systems Service Supervisor to lead shop and field service operations in the North Syracuse area.

In this role, you'll oversee daily service operations supporting power generation systems, marine engines, and industrial engines. You'll lead a team of skilled technicians, ensure customer expectations are exceeded, and drive a culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do
  • Schedule and assign work for shop and field service technicians
  • Build customer relationships
  • Monitor workflow and ensure timely completion of customer repairs and maintenance
  • Lead, coach, and develop technicians through ongoing performance management
  • Support technicians with complex diagnostics and repair challenges
  • Open, manage, review, and invoice work orders
  • Partner with customers to define repair scopes, communicate updates, and ensure satisfaction
  • Analyze equipment issues and maintain detailed service records
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including finance and operations, to support business objectives
  • Conduct safety audits and enforce safety policies and best practices
  • Maintain accurate customer files and operational documentation
What We're Looking For
  • Associate degree in Diesel Technology, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered
  • Preferred experience in power generation, industrial engines, marine engines, or a related industry
  • Previous supervisory or management experience leading service teams
  • Strong technical knowledge of generators, engines, and related equipment
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with technicians, customers, and internal stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management software
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • Customer-focused mindset with a sense of urgency and commitment to service excellence
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary: $80,000-$90,000, plus bonus, commensurate with experience
