Are you an ERP Developer with a strong foundation in financial systems and a passion for solving complex integration challenges? Due to growth, our client is adding a new role for an ERP Software Developer to their collaborative Financials team comprised of 3 senior developers. This is an excellent opportunity to join an organization embarking on a significant modernization effort.

What You'll Do

**Hybrid schedule: approximately 3 days onsite per week in Buffalo, NY area

Design, configure, code, and test software solutions within Financials environment, including GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, and Inventory modules
Support integration work tied to a major acquisition, translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Write and optimize SQL queries, reports, stored procedures, and perform broader Oracle database work
Perform root cause analysis and resolve application issues across the full stack — front-end configuration, back-end logic, and database layer
Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT partners in an Agile environment using daily Scrums, Jira, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook
Leverage AI-assisted development tools (including Copilot and Claude) to accelerate code generation, debugging, and documentation
Contribute to planning discussions around the organization's future cloud based ERP platform transition

What We're Looking For

Required:

5+ years of hands-on experience in software development preferably in conjunction with ERP systems.
Full-stack development background — front-end configuration, server-side coding, and database/SQL work
Strong SQL skills including query writing, reporting, stored procedures
Functional familiarity with financial business processes: GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, or Inventory
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
Strong communication and collaboration skills — this role interfaces regularly with business partners and IT stakeholders

Experience with configuration and troubleshooting financial modules of ERP system — like SAP, Oracle, Workday, PeopleSoft, MS Dynamics 365, Sage, Odoo, etc. a plus. Transferable skills will be considered.
