Contract Opportunity – .NET Full Stack Developer
Location: Buffalo, NY
Duration: 6–12+ Month Contract
Pay Rate: $60–$65/hour (W2)

Overview:

Our client is seeking a Full Stack .NET Developer with front-end experience in Angular or similar SPA Frameworks and strong API development background using .NET Core (C#).

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Complete and oversee basic to complex systems analysis, design, and development efforts
• Serve as an individual contributor on complex technical projects
• Maintain strong functional knowledge of supported applications
• Direct and monitor less experienced team members and coordinate development tasks
• Prepare and manage the technical components of project plans
• Participate in full SDLC activities from technical analysis through user acceptance testing
• Prepare and review test data, execute detailed test plans, and perform debugging
• Evaluate complex interrelationships among programs, interfacing applications, and platforms
• Prepare thorough technical and functional specifications and update systems documentation
• Provide time and effort assessments for project scope and required tasks
• Maintain efficient operation and effectiveness of supported applications
• Recommend new technologies, policies, or processes to improve system performance and organizational efficiency
• Participate in vendor software evaluations as needed
• Follow and promote development standards and procedures
• Maintain understanding of supported business functions, processes, and strategic direction
• Adhere to company risk and regulatory standards and internal control requirements

What You’ll Need to Have:

• 5+ years of systems analysis/application development experience
• Deep front-end expertise in Angular or similar SPA frameworks
• Strong backend API development experience using .NET Core (C#)
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and DevOps-oriented engineering practices
• Familiarity with application development software and hardware platforms
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience coordinating between applications teams and business units
• Experience recommending and implementing systems solutions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Banking industry experience preferred
