Our client is seeking a motivated Insurance Defense Attorney with 2–8 years of litigation experience to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced partners, gain hands-on courtroom experience, and manage cases from inception to resolution. Key Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of insurance defense litigation, including case strategy, legal research, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and mediations/arbitrations
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys for mentorship and guidance

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in New York State (in good standing)
• 1–8 years of experience in insurance defense litigation (general liability, premises liability, auto, or related areas)
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Commitment to client service and professional excellence
• Desire for mentorship and long-term growth within the firm
