Senior Accountant
Hybrid Schedule | Western New York

Our client, a well-established organization with a strong presence in its industry, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional to work in a collaborative environment with strong leadership and room for advancement.

In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with internal teams and business units on monthly financial reporting and annual statement preparation

• Support general ledger activities and contribute to process improvements across reporting, budgeting, and systems

• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process

• Lead portions of the planning and forecasting cycle, offering analysis to drive better financial outcomes

• Research technical accounting guidance to ensure proper treatment of new or unusual transactions

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience; experience in complex or multi-entity environments is a plus

• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with ERP systems

• CPA designation or current pursuit of certification is required
