Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Manager

Our client is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Manager to join their team as an Operating Advisor for commercial mortgage-backed securities and commercial real estate loan transactions.

About the Role:

This position offers an excellent opportunity to oversee servicer performance on commercial real estate loan portfolios while conducting comprehensive credit analysis and risk assessment. You'll work directly with loan servicers, clients, and regulators in a dynamic, client-facing environment.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and evaluate monthly portfolio performance, focusing on loan servicing activities and risk trends
• Review and analyze defaulted loan servicing including business plans, strategy reports, and financial calculations
• Prepare comprehensive annual servicer performance reports with actionable recommendations
• Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements
• Support business development efforts including bid preparation and contract negotiations
• Provide analytical expertise for commercial real estate valuations, workout advisory, loan sales, and litigation support

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in:
• Commercial real estate credit analysis, underwriting, or workout, OR
• Commercial mortgage special servicing, special assets, or portfolio monitoring
• Solid grasp of financial markets with strong CRE lending knowledge
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
