About the Job The Financial Analyst will be responsible for assisting
in the preparation and maintenance of corporate and subsidiary forecasts and budgets. They will participate in the strategic planning process, including the preparation of financial forecasts, analyses and presentations for executive management, the Board of Directors and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial performance and key business drivers
- Support cross-functional teams with financial analysis and assessing key investment decisions and project economics
- Cross training and assisting with the day to day responsibilities of various functional teams within Finance
- Developing an in depth understanding of PeopleSoft Financials, Oracle EPM (Strategic Modeling), SmartView and other software programs to support the forecasting process
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Previous forecasting/budgeting experience is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills, with an interest in finance and accounting concepts
- The ability to work efficiently with strong problem solving skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated reliability, self-motivation and willingness to learn
- Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
