VP of Finance – Strategic Leadership Role in Healthcare | WNY

We are partnering with a prominent healthcare provider in Western New York to find a Vice President of Finance who will lead financial strategy, operations, and support the continued growth and mission of the organization. This is a high-level leadership position reporting directly to the CEO and playing a crucial role as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Lead the finance, payroll, and billing teams in aligning financial practices with organizational goals, ensuring long-term financial health and sustainability.
- Financial Oversight: Manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management while providing critical insights to senior leadership.
- Revenue Cycle Management: Oversee the revenue cycle, ensuring best practices are followed and continually developing staff to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Risk and Financial Strategy: Evaluate and implement strategies across various departments and lines of business to ensure fiscal stability and operational excellence.
- Advisory Role: Work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders, advising on key financial decisions that will influence the company’s strategic direction.
What You’ll Bring:
- Leadership Experience: At least three years of senior finance leadership with proven experience in managing teams and driving change.
- Financial Expertise: Strong background in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ideally in a healthcare or similar industry.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial matters to non-financial stakeholders.
- Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required. A CPA and experience with healthcare organizations is highly preferred.
