Machine Operator – Plastic Manufacturing
Location: Ofallon, MO
Schedule: Full-Time | Multiple Shifts Available:

  • 1st Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
  • 3rd Shift: 11:30 PM – 8:00 AM

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire / Full-Time Opportunity
Compensation: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities

As a Machine Operator, you will play an important role in the manufacturing process by operating equipment, maintaining quality standards, and supporting daily production operations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Operate plastic molding machines and secondary production equipment
  • Monitor machine performance and report production, quality, or safety concerns
  • Inspect plastic parts to ensure they meet established quality standards
  • Trim, sort, package, and label finished products
  • Maintain production goals while following all quality and safety procedures
  • Assemble boxes and prepare packaging materials
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Communicate important production information during shift changes
  • Assist with housekeeping and organization throughout the production facility
  • Support Lead Operators and supervisors as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Commitment to workplace safety practices
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
  • Ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to perform repetitive trimming, inspection, and packaging tasks
  • Ability to visually inspect products for quality defects
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools, including trimming knives and clippers
  • Ability to lift and empty production containers as needed
