Their team is known for precision craftsmanship, strong collaboration, and delivering reliable products that power critical systems. They are currently seeking an experienced Panel Assembly Supervisor to help lead production and support a skilled team of electrical technicians.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working close to the floor, supporting technicians, solving problems in real time, and ensuring complex builds move smoothly from start to finish.

Position Overview

The Panel Assembly Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the electrical panel assembly department. This individual will guide technicians, maintain production schedules, ensure quality standards are met, and serve as a key bridge between production, engineering, and quality teams.

Successful candidates bring hands-on electrical assembly experience along with the leadership ability to keep teams organized, motivated, and focused on delivering high-quality builds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily activities of panel builders and electrical assembly technicians
  • Coordinate workflow and production schedules to meet project deadlines
  • Ensure assemblies are built according to electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and quality standards
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance and support to technicians
  • Inspect completed panels and assemblies to ensure workmanship and compliance
  • Collaborate with engineering, production planning, and quality teams to keep projects moving forward
  • Monitor productivity and identify opportunities to improve workflow and efficiency
  • Train and mentor new technicians on assembly procedures, safety practices, and quality expectations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment
  • Track project progress and communicate status updates to leadership

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in electrical panel assembly, control panel building, or electrical manufacturing
  • Previous lead or supervisory experience in a production environment preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
  • Strong understanding of panel layout, wiring standards, and electrical components
  • Experience working with terminal blocks, relays, PLC wiring, cable harnesses, and control systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to manage multiple production priorities and keep teams on schedule
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
