Job Description

Complex Production Assembler

Advanced Electrical Manufacturing | Full-Time

If you enjoy detailed hands-on work, solving mechanical and electrical assembly challenges, and building products that require precision and focus, this is the kind of role where your skills really stand out.

Our client company is a growing electrical contract manufacturer and distributor that produces custom wire assemblies, cable harnesses, control panels, and complete box builds for industrial and commercial applications. Their products support critical equipment used across multiple industries, and every build requires accuracy, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

They are currently looking for a Complex Production Assembler to join their production team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with intricate components, following technical documentation, and taking pride in assembling high-quality products from start to finish.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assemble complex electrical and mechanical components according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
  • Build custom wire assemblies, cable harnesses, and electro-mechanical subassemblies
  • Install and secure components such as connectors, terminals, relays, and mounting hardware
  • Perform detailed routing, terminating, and bundling of wires and cables
  • Use hand tools, crimping tools, torque drivers, and assembly fixtures to complete builds
  • Inspect assemblies to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications
  • Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and identify potential build improvements
  • Support testing, inspection, and final verification of completed assemblies
  • Maintain an organized workstation and follow quality and safety standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in electrical assembly, mechanical assembly, or electro-mechanical production
  • Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, schematics, and technical instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
  • Comfort working with small components, wiring, connectors, and precision parts
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset
  • Reliable team player who takes pride in their work
Experience That Stands Out
  • Complex mechanical assembly
  • Electro-mechanical assembly
  • Cable harness and wire assembly
  • Panel wiring and electrical components
  • Precision assembly work
  • Blueprint and schematic reading
  • Production testing and quality inspection
  • Why This Role Is Worth Considering
  • Stable company with long-term manufacturing customers
  • Hands-on work where your skill and craftsmanship matter
  • Clean, organized production environment
  • Opportunity to work on detailed builds that require focus and technical ability
  • A team that values reliability, precision, and pride in quality work

The Bottom Line

Some assembly jobs are repetitive...This one isn’t...

If you enjoy working with intricate components, building complex products, and seeing a finished system come together through careful craftsmanship, you’ll likely find this role far more satisfying than typical production work.

Because people who are good at this kind of work usually share one trait: they actually care about building things the right way.
