Shift Supervisor – Production

Full-Time | Manufacturing Environment     

Looking for a leadership role where you can lead by example and make a real impact?

We're seeking a hands-on Shift Supervisor to lead production operations for a growing manufacturer of architectural stone, brick, wood paneling, and decorative products. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys developing people, improving processes, and working alongside their team to deliver high-quality products.

What You'll Do

Lead the Production Team

  • Supervise Production Associates across fabrication, finishing, shipping, and general production
  • Assign daily tasks and adjust workflow to meet production goals
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and safety throughout each shift
  • Provide hands-on support to keep production running efficiently

Support Quality & Production

  • Ensure products are measured, cut, assembled, and finished according to specifications
  • Review work orders and construction drawings for accuracy
  • Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate solutions
  • Maintain high standards for craftsmanship and finished product quality

Coordinate Shipping & Workflow

  • Oversee order staging, packaging, and shipment preparation
  • Coordinate material movement throughout the facility
  • Verify customer orders are complete and production-ready
  • Assist with forklift operations when needed

Develop Your Team

  • Train new employees on equipment, safety procedures, and production processes
  • Coach team members to improve performance and efficiency
  • Promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Foster a positive, safety-focused work environment

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, fabrication, or construction
  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred
  • Experience using shop equipment such as table saws, miter saws, and panel saws
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure and construction drawings
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Reliable, organized, and solution-oriented
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork

Preferred Qualifications

  • Finish carpentry experience
  • Molding or foam fabrication experience
  • Forklift certification or experience
