About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with a well-established printing and packaging operation to find a skilled Flexo Press Operator who takes pride in running a clean, efficient press and producing high-quality work.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands that speed matters—but quality matters more. If you’ve ever caught a color issue before anyone else noticed or take satisfaction in a smooth, dialed-in run, you’ll fit right in here.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be responsible for setting up, running, and maintaining a flexographic press while ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the process.

• Set up and operate flexographic printing presses based on job specifications
• Perform make-ready processes and ensure jobs are set up correctly before production
• Monitor print quality throughout runs and make adjustments as needed
• Troubleshoot mechanical and process issues to minimize downtime
• Complete changeovers and basic machine adjustments
• Maintain proper documentation, including scanning and job records
• Keep your press and work area clean and organized
• Work closely with Quality and Supervisors to approve startups
• Direct and support Press Assistants as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and operational standards

What We’re Looking For

We’re not looking for someone to just “run a machine.” We want someone who understands the process and takes ownership of their work.

• 1–2+ years of flexo press experience preferred
• Ability to read job orders and follow detailed instructions
• Strong attention to detail, especially with color and print quality
• Comfortable troubleshooting equipment and making adjustments
• Basic math skills and ability to read a ruler accurately
• Familiarity with small tools and basic computer systems
• Strong communication skills and team mindset
• Willingness to cross-train and grow within the operation

Physical & Work Environment

This is a production environment, not a desk job.

• Standing for extended periods (up to 10+ hours)
• Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Exposure to noise (PPE required) and machine vibration
• Requires attention to fine detail and color differentiation
