Production Supervisor

Full-Time | Manufacturing Environment

What You'll Do

  • Supervise and support production employees during assigned shifts
  • Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers
  • Monitor production schedules, workflow, and departmental performance
  • Ensure productivity, quality, and safety goals are achieved
  • Lead daily shift meetings and ongoing employee communication
  • Train, coach, and support new and existing team members
  • Maintain accurate production, staffing, and performance reports
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate material shortages
  • Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives
  • Ensure housekeeping, safety, and operational standards are maintained
  • Investigate production issues and assist with corrective actions
  • Coordinate with maintenance regarding equipment performance and repairs
  • Assist with employee evaluations and performance management
  • Provide leadership support and assist with plant operations as needed

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Previous manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced production environment
  • Experience with production reporting and operational metrics
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Forklift Certification required
  • Ability to motivate employees and maintain accountability
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Comfortable working flexible schedules when needed

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk the production floor throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment and machinery
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach as needed
  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures and production environments
  • Ability to work in areas with moderate to high noise levels
