Recycling Line Manager

Full-Time | Manufacturing Environment

We're seeking an experienced Recycling Line Manager to oversee daily operations, lead production teams, and help drive efficiency in a growing manufacturing environment. What You'll Do

  • Supervise Recycling Line Operators and oversee daily production activities
  • Ensure production goals are met while maintaining quality and safety standards
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members on equipment operation and production procedures
  • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance when issues arise
  • Assign daily tasks, manage schedules, and track employee attendance and performance
  • Ensure forklift and equipment operation standards are followed
  • Maintain accurate production records, output reports, and quality documentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Enforce safety, housekeeping, and OSHA compliance standards
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and employee performance evaluations
  • Serve as a liaison between production staff, maintenance, and plant leadership
  • Support special projects and operational initiatives as needed

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing, production, recycling, or a related industry
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
  • Experience working with production equipment and manufacturing processes
  • Forklift knowledge and understanding of warehouse or plant operations
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and production tracking
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in varying plant conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and noise
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and overtime when required
