Job Description

Forklift Operator- Warehouse Job Responsibilities: The forklift operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, relocate, stack and count merchandise. The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle. This position receives and stores material, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Forklift Operator- Warehouse Job Duties:

• Assist in shipping and receiving loading/unloading trucks
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas
• Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for traffic
• Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method
• Attends forklift training and certification refresher courses periodically
• Assist in counting of physical inventory
• Inspecting equipment before each use
• Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
• Wear proper safety equipment
• Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor

• Initiative and responsibility - Willingness to act pro-actively by identifying opportunities and anticipate changes
• IT skills – C4C or other CRM experience a plus

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• A minimum of one year of prior forklift/clamp truck operator experience
