Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Process Technician – Injection Molding to join our manufacturing team. This individual will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting injection molding machines to ensure efficient and consistent production of high-quality plastic parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate injection molding machines and related equipment.
• Start up, shut down, and troubleshoot molding processes to meet production and quality standards.
• Make necessary adjustments to machine settings, molds, temperatures, pressures, and cycle times.
• Monitor part quality and identify defects or inconsistencies.
• Maintain proper documentation of machine settings and process parameters.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure mold and equipment readiness.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and production guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in plastic injection molding required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of injection molding machines (e.g., Arburg, Engel, Husky, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and process sheets.
• Familiarity with mold changeovers and process validation.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with automation or robotics in molding processes.
  Familiarity with ISO or GMP manufacturing environments.
