Our client, a leader in high-precision metal fabrication and machining, is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join their team in O’Fallon, MO. Sign-on bonus up to $2,000 based on experience.
As a CNC Programmer, you’ll be the go-to expert for transforming engineering designs into efficient, high-quality machine programs. You’ll work closely with machinists, engineers, and quality teams to ensure smooth production of complex components.
Key responsibilities include:
Creating, editing, and optimizing CNC programs (Mazatrol experience preferred)
Setting up jobs and providing clear setup instructions to machinists
Collaborating with engineering and production teams to streamline workflows
Interpreting technical drawings and models to generate precise toolpaths
Selecting tools, speeds, and feeds appropriate for various materials and tolerances
Troubleshooting programming issues and contributing to continuous improvement
You’re detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in modern CNC programming. You bring both technical know-how and a proactive mindset. Ideally, you have:
Solid experience programming CNC mills and lathes (5+ years preferred)
Proficiency with Mazak machines and Mazatrol controls strongly preferred
Strong understanding of G-code, machining processes, and tooling
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, 3D models, and GD&T
Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar)
A strong focus on quality, safety, and productivity
