Overview:We are seeking a Bilingual Translator (Spanish-English) with strong mechanical aptitude to join our precision CNC machine shop. This role bridges the gap between English-speaking supervisors and Spanish-speaking machinists, helping ensure smooth communication, accurate instruction, and safe, efficient production. Key Responsibilities:Provide on-the-floor verbal and written translation between English and Spanish in real time

Interpret technical instructions, blueprints, safety guidelines, and quality standards for non-English speaking employees

Support training sessions by translating documents, presentations, and hands-on demonstrations

Assist with onboarding new employees and explaining shop procedures and machine operation basics

Facilitate communication between supervisors, quality control, and production staff

Translate documents such as work orders, maintenance logs, SOPs, and inspection reports

Help identify and resolve misunderstandings in processes or instructions

Contribute to a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Qualifications:Fluent in both Spanish and English (spoken and written)

Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with manufacturing or machine shop environments

Basic understanding of CNC machining, tooling, or blueprint reading is strongly preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus

Preferred Experience:Prior experience in a machine shop, CNC facility, or industrial setting

Experience translating technical terminology and instructions

Familiarity with safety protocols and industrial vocabulary in both languages
