Are you a skilled metal fabricator with a passion for precision? Our client company is seeking a dedicated Plasma Cutter to help shape the future of manufacturing! As a key member of their team, you will work with advanced tools and cutting-edge technology to craft high-quality metal products for a variety of industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Metal Cutting & Shaping: Use a plasma torch to accurately cut and shape various types of metal based on customer specifications, drawings, and other instructions. Your work will play a vital role in the production of custom products that meet the highest standards of quality.

• Weld Preparation & Metal Fabrication: Prepare metals for welding, ensuring precise cuts and smooth surfaces to set the foundation for quality welds. You’ll be involved in everything from initial setup to final preparation, ensuring the integrity of each piece.

• Welding Expertise: Apply your knowledge of welding techniques to interpret mechanical drawings and understand weld requirements. Whether it's steel alloys, aluminum, or specialized materials, your expertise ensures every project is completed to spec.

• Material Knowledge: Work with a variety of materials, including different types of steel alloys, aluminum, and even some exotic metals, applying the correct wire and filler material for each specific job.

• Maintenance & Equipment Care: Perform routine maintenance on cutting and welding equipment, ensuring that tools and machinery are in top working condition. You'll also be responsible for finish grinding applications using both manual and power tools.

• Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following strict safety standards to protect yourself and your teammates. You’ll work in compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a secure and efficient workspace.

Physical Requirements:

• The role requires the ability to lift and move materials up to 50-75 pounds.
• Work will involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, electrical risks, and high noise levels, so safety equipment and protocols are essential.
