Electronics Assembly Worker – Join a Leading Manufacturer in Saint Charles, MO
Are you a detail-oriented and skilled professional with experience in electronics assembly? We have an exciting opportunity with a leading manufacturer in Saint Charles, MO, looking for a dedicated Electronics Assembly Worker to join their growing team! In this role, you will play a critical part in assembling and testing high-quality electronic components that power innovative products used around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Component Preparation & Insertion: Prepare and organize components for insertion into printed circuit boards (PCBs), ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the assembly process.
- Hand Assembly & Soldering: Perform hand-assembly of components onto PCBs, expertly soldering and de-soldering parts as needed to meet strict quality standards.
- Wave Soldering & Lead Trimming: Load electronic boards onto the wave solder machine and trim leads with precision, ensuring smooth functionality for each board.
- Conformal Coating: Mask and unmask parts for conformal coating, helping to protect assemblies from environmental factors.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Test circuit board assemblies for functionality and ensure compliance with technical specifications. Perform quality control checks to ensure the highest standards.
- Programming Microcontrollers: Program microcontrollers, ensuring correct functionality of electronic systems.
- Subassembly & Final Assembly: Assemble mechanical parts into subassemblies and final assemblies, ensuring each product meets the required design specifications.
Qualifications:
- Electronics Experience: Prior work experience in an electronics manufacturing environment, particularly in assembly or PCB production.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of resistor color codes, and ability to recognize a wide range of electronic components, including resistors, capacitors, diodes, and more.
- Soldering Skills: Previous experience with both hand-soldering and de-soldering techniques, ensuring precise connections on PCBs.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to handle small electronic and mechanical parts with care, ensuring high-quality, error-free assembly.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the assembly process.
