Position: CNC Metal Fabrication Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Precision Cutting: Expertly cut parts to specified dimensions using CNC machines.
  • Maintenance Mastery: Perform daily preventative maintenance to keep machines running smoothly.
  • Team Training: Assist in training new team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all parts are labeled correctly and maintain high standards of part quality.
  • Problem Solving: Develop and implement solutions to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Team Collaboration: Work within a team concept, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints and using measurement tools like calipers and protractors.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform tasks that require bending, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to perform detailed work with precision.
  • Team Player: Ability to work cooperatively and productively with others, with a willingness to cross-train and rotate positions.
  • Independent Worker: Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Safety Conscious: Commitment to operating machinery and tools safely.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related industrial experience.

Physical Demands:

  • Communication: Must be able to exchange ideas and information clearly.
  • Movement: Extensive standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Manual Handling: Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Visual Requirements: Excellent near, mid-range, and far vision, with the ability to distinguish colors and judge distance.

  • CNC Machinery
  • Computer
  • Tape Measure
  • Caliper
  • Various hand tools (manual and electric/battery powered)

Work Environment:

  • Conditions: Exposure to dirt, dust, temperature changes, warehouse noises, dampness, and odors.
  • Safety Hazards: Regular handling of sharp objects and exposure to mechanical hazards.
  • Chemical Exposure: Daily exposure to glues and solvents.
