JOB TITLE: Recycling Line Operator
LOCATION: Hazelwood, MO
SCHEDULE: 3rd Shift | Sunday - Thursday | 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
POSITION TYPE: Full-Time
COMPENSATION: Competitive hourly pay based on experience

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
CPAY Staffing & Recruiting is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals for a Recycling Line Operator position with a growing manufacturing company in Hazelwood, MO.

This is a hands-on production role working within a recycling operation where safety, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential. If you enjoy staying active throughout your shift, operating equipment, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Production & Equipment Operation

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
• Monitor and understand basic machine functions
• Identify and report equipment issues, inefficiencies, or safety concerns
• Assist with production processes and material handling activities

Forklift & Material Handling

• Safely operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility
• Load, unload, and transport materials as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and operating guidelines

Documentation & Reporting

• Record production output and operational data
• Utilize computers and production systems for documentation and reporting
• Maintain accurate production records

Team Support

• Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
• Follow instructions and adapt to changing production needs
• Perform additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or recycling experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Ability to use basic hand tools
• Strong communication skills with the ability to read, write, and speak English
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout the shift
• Ability to work in varying plant temperatures, including hot and cold conditions
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment
