Shipping Coordinator

Full-Time | Mon-Fri | Aerospace Manufacturing

We're seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join a respected aerospace manufacturing company. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating shipments, working with carriers, and ensuring products are delivered accurately and on time.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate domestic and international outbound shipments
  • Schedule freight with carriers, freight forwarders, and transportation providers
  • Prepare bills of lading, invoices, export documents, and shipping paperwork
  • Process shipments using UPS, FedEx, and other carrier systems
  • Verify packaging, labeling, and shipment accuracy
  • Track shipments and resolve delivery delays, damages, or discrepancies
  • File and manage freight claims from start to resolution
  • Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and materials
  • Communicate with production, purchasing, and customer service teams to ensure on-time deliveries
  • Ensure compliance with ITAR and all applicable shipping regulations

What We're Looking For

  • 1–2 years of shipping, logistics, or supply chain experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience using UPS and FedEx shipping systems
  • Basic math skills and strong accuracy
  • Ability to read and write in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with international shipping and export documentation
  • Knowledge of ITAR or regulated manufacturing environments
  • Forklift or side-loader certification
