RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Complete hourly inspections of all parts in production and secondary operations
- Complete hourly inspections of all assembled products
- Identify, measure and confirm all quality acceptance criteria for all parts in production during the shift
- Be familiar with the Standard Operating Procedure for all production and secondary operations.
- Be familiar with Production schedule and assure correct product is running
- Train shift personnel on the above procedures. Put a special focus on new employees and temporary employees.
- Ensure proper materials and packaging are in use
- Raise any quality or safety issues to the Shift Supervisor immediately
- Ensure that a S.O.P. Sheet and Quality Criteria Sheet are at each press for reference
- Complete Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) audits as assigned and maintain results on file.
- Give breaks to the QA RX Inspector
- Fill out the QA logbook
- Keep the Quality Assurance Office clean and organized
- Follow supervisor’s instructions
- Follow the “last shot retention” program and keep retention area organized

REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 25 lb boxes repeatedly during shift
- Dexterity of hands and fingers
- Visual ability to handle and inspect parts
- Basic Computer skills
- Ability to read a blueprint
- Familiar with measuring devices such as caliper, micrometers, pin gauges
- Standing and walking for up to 4 hours at a time
- Steel Toe Shoes
