Job Description

A leading law firm is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Project Manager for its San Francisco office. Reporting to the Director of Litigation Support & eDiscovery, the Project Manager will serve as the primary operational lead on assigned litigation matters. The role carries significant autonomy and involves working with attorneys, litigation support staff, review teams, clients, and outside vendors to deliver efficient and defensible discovery.

The role covers the full discovery lifecycle, from preservation and collection through processing, review, production, and closeout. Responsibilities include building project plans and budgets, designing discovery workflows, and recommending tools such as analytics, technology-assisted review, and AI-enabled workflows. The Project Manager will also oversee production quality control, manage risk, run kickoff and status meetings with case teams, coordinate document review and privilege-log work, and help improve departmental procedures and training.

Candidates need a bachelor's degree and at least seven years of experience managing eDiscovery projects. Ten years of equivalent experience may substitute for the degree. Proficiency with Relativity or a comparable platform is required, as is a track record of independently managing schedules, budgets, and vendors. A JD, multi-platform experience, and RCA, CEDS, or PMP certification are preferred. The salary range for this role is $135,000–$160,000.
