Job Description

A leading global law firm is seeking a Business Development Associate Director, Energy & Infrastructure, to be based in one of its offices in New York City, Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, Houston, or another U.S. location. This senior strategic leader will drive revenue growth across the firm's Energy & Infrastructure sector, working with sector leaders, partners, a fellow E&I Associate Director, and the broader BD team.

The Associate Director will set BD priorities and lead strategy development. The role covers client targeting, pipeline management, key account programs, and cross-selling across practices and offices. It also includes overseeing tailored proposals and pitches for energy-sector matters and leading thought leadership and external positioning with Communications and PR. The Associate Director will direct the events and sponsorship strategy, partner with Market Intelligence on emerging trends, and shape the firm's story across rankings, awards, and directories. They will also build and manage a high-performing BD team, coach partners on visibility, and define KPIs to measure progress against the global sector strategy.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. They need 10+ years of business development and marketing experience in the E&I sector, exceptional communication and project management skills, and a strategic, collaborative approach. The expected salary range is $200,000–$260,000.
