Job Title: Service Advisor
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Position Overview:
We are seeking a customer-focused Service Advisor to serve as the primary point of contact for vehicle service needs. This role is responsible for delivering a seamless service experience by effectively coordinating between customers and service technicians while ensuring clear communication and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and accurately capture vehicle concerns and service needs
Evaluate vehicle condition and history to recommend appropriate services and repairs
Identify and include any open recalls or service updates in appointments
Create detailed repair orders outlining issues, required work, and estimated costs
Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs
Communicate technical information to customers in a clear, easy-to-understand manner
Monitor repair progress and provide regular updates to customers
Manage scheduling for service appointments and customer vehicle pick-up
Maintain loaner vehicle logs, including allocation and tracking
Address customer concerns professionally and resolve issues as needed
Stay informed on current automotive technologies and service best practices
Dispatch vehicles to technicians based on workload and priorities
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Basic automotive knowledge or willingness to learn
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
