Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Service Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of the service department. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient scheduling, resource allocation, and timely resolution of client service requests while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The Service Manager will lead and support service technicians, develop service strategies, ensure compliance with industry standards, and partner with internal teams to improve overall service operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily service department operations to ensure efficiency and responsiveness
Manage scheduling, dispatching, and resource allocation for service technicians
Supervise, mentor, and support service team members
Ensure timely resolution of customer service requests while maintaining strong client satisfaction
Develop and implement service strategies to improve operational performance
Partner with other departments to streamline workflows and support continuous improvement
Maintain compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
Qualifications:
Strong leadership and team management experience, including mentoring and coordinating staff
Technical knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, and service operations
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively
Experience with scheduling, resource planning, and service workflow management
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and solve problems effectively
Prior experience in the mechanical contracting or HVAC industry is required
