Journeyman Electrician – Commercial Alternative Energy

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our commercial team, specializing in alternative energy systems and infrastructure. This role involves installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems related to EV charging stations, renewable energy equipment, and other commercial power solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and experience working with emerging energy technologies.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems, including EV charging stations and renewable energy equipment

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams

Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, and safety regulations

Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in commercial environments

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to complete projects on time

Qualifications:

Journeyman Electrician license (state-certified)

3+ years of commercial electrical experience

Knowledge of renewable energy systems and EV charging infrastructure preferred

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
