Job Description

We're hiring a JANITORIAL & SANITATION TECHNICIAN to help maintain a clean, safe, and GMP-compliant manufacturing environment. This role is key to ensuring our equipment and production areas meet quality and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and disinfecting of offices, restrooms, laboratory, warehouse, and production areas
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop all floors in the offices, breakrooms and restrooms
• Collect all waste and safely dispose of
• Monitor and manage cleaning inventory
• Follow strict Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Properly handle, dilute, and apply industrial cleaning and sanitizing chemicals safely
• Refill soap and hand towels in the bathrooms
• Report potential issues to management
• Help with monitoring waste tank
• Help with cleaning spills on production floor, when needed

What You Need:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in janitorial, sanitation, or custodial roles (manufacturing, food processing, or pharmaceutical environments strongly preferred)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, climb stairs, and stand, walk, or bend for extended periods
• Attention to detail
• Specialized safety certifications (like OSHA 10-Hour) or hazardous material handling are a plus
• Excellent attendance
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines

Preferred:

• High degree of precision to ensure no missed contaminants or safety hazards
• Comfort in operating automated cleaning machinery and dismantling industrial equipment
• Understanding of PPE protocols, MSDS/SDS sheets, and OSHA guidelines
