FedEx Operations Manager (BC) | Denver, CO | $80K + $12K Bonus

Bright Flag on behalf of Greenlight Denver is hiring a FedEx Ground Operations Manager (BC) in the Denver, CO area.

This is a leadership role overseeing daily FedEx delivery operations, drivers, and route performance out of the Denver terminal.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• $80,000 base salary
• Up to $12,000 performance bonus

SCHEDULE & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• 5–6 day work week (1–2 days off)
• Terminal operates 6–7 days per week
• Dispatch around 8:00 AM
• Route operations typically 8–10 hour days
• Not a standard 9–5 role (leadership + operational coverage required)
• Terminal: 5805 Jackson Gap St, Aurora, CO 80019

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You will lead daily FedEx delivery operations, ensuring routes, drivers, and service levels run efficiently and safely.

• Oversee daily driver dispatch and route coverage
• Ensure trucks, routes, and staffing are fully operational
• Monitor performance, safety, and service compliance
• Support drivers with issues, coaching, and accountability
• Step in and drive routes when needed
• Manage payroll timesheets and reporting
• Coordinate onboarding, recruiting, and training
• Maintain route efficiency using optimization tools (DRO system)
• Coordinate maintenance and reduce downtime
• Enforce DOT, safety, and FedEx compliance standards
• Communicate directly with FedEx Ground operations staff

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 2–3+ years transportation or fleet management experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage drivers in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable using routing / logistics software
• Valid driver’s license (must be able to operate step van if needed)
• Must pass background check, DOT physical, and drug screen
• Experience with FedEx, UPS, Amazon, or logistics strongly preferred
• Military leadership experience encouraged
