Dispatcher – Amazon DSP (Full-Time)

Location: 200 GREGG STREET LODI, New Jersey 07644
Pay: $45,000-50,000
 Schedule: Full-Time | Weekends Required

Overview

We are an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to support our daily delivery operations. This role is critical to ensure routes run smoothly, drivers are supported in real time, and deliveries are completed safely and on schedule.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and can problem-solve quickly while supporting both drivers and leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate and monitor daily delivery routes from dispatch to completion
• Serve as the primary point of contact for delivery drivers during routes
• Track driver progress and provide real-time support to resolve issues
• Communicate delays, route changes, and operational updates as needed
• Assist with route assignments, loadout, and end-of-day debriefs
• Monitor attendance and escalate callouts or coverage gaps
• Support fleet coordination, including tracking vehicle issues and reporting concerns
• Ensure accurate documentation of route performance, incidents, and exceptions
• Drive delivery routes as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain constant communication with drivers to ensure safe and efficient deliveries
• Quickly troubleshoot delivery issues such as access problems, delays, or package concerns
• Escalate operational or safety issues to management as needed
• Support daily stand-up meetings and help reinforce expectations
• Assist with onboarding support and basic training for new drivers

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous dispatch, logistics, or transportation experience
• Experience working in delivery, warehouse, or operations environments
• Familiarity with GPS tracking, routing systems, or delivery apps

Requirements

• Ability to work 8–10-hour shifts
• Combination of desk work and on-site operational support
• Occasional outdoor activity during loadout and dispatch
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds

•     Must be at least 21 years old
•     Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver’s license OR unexpired state-issued identification
•      Must be authorized to work in the United States
•      Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)

Schedule

• 8–10-hour shifts
• Weekend availability required
• Holidays as needed
