Bright Flag Recruiting has partnered with M.J. Ryckebosch Inc. to hire a full-time FedEx Ground Linehaul Manager (BC) in Reno, NV. 

We are a FedEx Ground Independent Contractor operating from a single terminal. The Linehaul Operations Manager will oversee dispatch and operations for the company. 

The Linehaul Operations Manager is responsible for leading our team - ensuring safety and accountability and building positive, professional relationships with drivers and FedEx Ground staff. Currently holding an active CDL-A License is required! Doubles endorsement is strongly preferred. 

Schedule & Benefits: 

• Monday – Friday, typically 9am-6pm and on call nights and weekends. 
• $73,000-$78,000 annual salary 
• Bonuses: Quarterly + year-end (based on company earnings)

Manager Responsibilities: 

• Supervise linehaul operations, ensuring compliance, safety, efficiency and profitability. 
• Maintain contact with all drivers and FedEx Ground hub managers throughout shifts. 
• Build and manage a team of drivers to meet the needs of the business. 
• Perform routine safety audits and identify strengths and areas of opportunity in operations and driver performance and coach drivers to success. 
• Cover routes and provide spot training in the trucks to drivers when necessary. 
• Ensure driver compliance to policies including, customer service, and accurate recordkeeping (pre-post trip, DOT compliance, insurance cards, fuel cards, accident packets, etc.) 
• Follow-up with local management on all VEDR recordable incidents and accidents according to DOT requirements. 
• Manage fleet maintenance and repairs 
• Maintain and monitor fleet cameras, and ELDs, etc 
• Maintain fleet licenses and insurance 

Driving Manager Requirements: 

• 2+ years of logistics/transportation CDL driving and/or management experience needed - no safety incidents ever! 
• FedEx BC or Ops Manager Experience a major plus 
• CDL-A required; doubles endorsement strongly preferred 
• Must be able to pass DOT physical as well as a drug screen and criminal background check. 
• Working knowledge of HOS and VEDR equipment preferred
