Job Description

We are currently hiring Full-Time Fleet Mechanics at our Enid, OK Terminal to support maintenance and repairs on a FedEx fleet of 50 vehicles, including vans, step vans, and 26-foot box trucks.  

Our Fleet Mechanics will be responsible for providing timely, quality, and cost-effective repairs and maintenance for our fleet. Military background? We’d love to have you apply! Experience as a mechanic while serving? Even better! 

Compensation & Benefits: 

• Senior Mechanic: $25–$40/hour (based on experience) 

• Junior Mechanic: $21–$28/hour (based on experience) 

• Paid Weekly 

• Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance after 60 days of employment 

• Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate 

• After-hours service call bonus: $100 per call (after 6 PM) 

• 5 PTO days annually 

Tools and equipment are provided. No personal tools required. 

Schedule: 

• Monday through Saturday or 5-6 days a week 

• Typically, 7:00 AM – 3:00/4:00 PM 

• Must be flexible for occasional weekend work (1–2 weekends/month) 

As a Technician, You Will: 

• Provide accurate and efficient service to our equipment, including: 

• Troubleshooting 

• Diagnostics 

• Repairs 

• Inspect, replace, and/or repair defective parts. 

• Perform preventative maintenance on gas and diesel vehicles (vans, step vans, box trucks). 

• Maintain clear, organized maintenance records. 

• Communicate effectively with team members and management. 

• Troubleshoot electrical issues and in-cab systems, including VEDR cameras. 

• Complete minor body repairs as needed. 

• Manage parts inventory and communicate needs to management. 

• Respond to after-hours service calls when required. 

• Senior Mechanic: Manage junior team members and oversee maintenance operations. 

Qualifications: 

• Senior Mechanic: 3–5 years of experience in truck/fleet maintenance (management experience preferred). 

• Junior Mechanic: 1–3 years of experience in truck/fleet maintenance. 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 

• Must be willing to complete a federal background check and drug test (paid by employer). 

• Ability to safely operate manual and automatic vehicles. 

• Mechanically inclined and able to work independently. 

• Military background preferred but not required.
