Burton Transport is hiring skilled Class A CDL OTR Solo Drivers for home-daily routes based out of Cookeville, TN! If you have experience with companies like FedEx, Western Express, Dollar General, Amazon, or Werner, we want to hear from you.

Position Details: 

• Schedule: Full-Time (Monday-Friday) 

• Shift: 

• Start time at 1:00 PM for spot runs in the local area  

• Linehaul runs from Cookeville, TN to either Nashville, TN or Murfreesboro, TN 

• Finish by 1:00 AM 

• Average Miles: Approximately 200 miles per night 

• Route Type: Local Home Daily, Dedicated Routes. 

• Work Environment: Professional, supportive, and efficient 

Who We’re Looking For: 

We are seeking Solo drivers with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety. 

Requirements: 

• Valid Class A CDL with 1+ year of recent tractor-trailer experience. 

• Doubles endorsement is required. Experience preferred but may train a motivated individual. 

• Clean driving record and strong knowledge of DOT regulations. 

• Professional attitude, excellent communication skills, and a focus on safety. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Safely operate tractor-trailers and doubles. 

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure compliance and safety. 

• Transport goods for FedEx Ground Contractors reliably. 

• Communicate proactively with dispatch and your team. 

• Maintain accurate logs and deliver exceptional customer service.
