Job Description

We are looking for dedicated full-time Delivery Route Drivers in the Baton Rouge area. Drivers will operate out of the local terminal and will deliver packages to residences and businesses.

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring that products are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time to our valued customers. This role requires physical stamina for heavy lifting, the ability to load and unload pallets using a pallet jack, and proficiency in operating a manual transmission vehicle. 

This position is ideal for those who enjoy the freedom of the open road, take pride in providing exceptional customer service, and are comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Terminal Location: 10800 S Reitz Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA 70809
ROUTES WILL BE OVER THE HOARACE WILKINSON BRIDGE

Pay: $125/day 
Training Pay: $80 per day

Schedule: 5-day work week; Flexible Schedule | Weekend Availability required | Start Time: 8:00am – Delivery Completion (typically 5:00)

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products, maintaining their condition upon arrival.
• Keep detailed records of deliveries, completing all required paperwork accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to company safety and maintenance standards.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safety on the road.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members to address and resolve any delivery issues.
• Work collaboratively with other drivers to optimize delivery routes and schedules.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and operate a pallet jack.
• Proficient in driving a manual transmission vehicle through congested areas.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and solve problems on the go.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in delivery schedules.
• Prior experience with courier services is a plus.
