Job Description

We are searching for an Account Manager to develop and maintain relationships with IT Managed Service clients in the greater Sacramento area.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships within the greater Sacramento area.
• Grow relationships with existing accounts through discovery of challenges and identification of solutions.
• Provide a consultative approach to sales for managed service.
• Offer managed service IT, phone, and internet support to new and existing clients.
• Develop and present solutions based on customer business needs.
• Consider various solutions for clients and anticipate client needs.
• Analyze client needs and create supporting documentation to outline needs.
• The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to create tailored client solutions.
• Use CRM and knowledge management tools to provide various levels of sales reporting.
• Engage with clients regularly.
• Coordinate meetings, appointments, and touch points for client engagement.
• Create a strategic plan for high-level accounts.
• Prepare quotes for technical projects.
• Present strategic business reviews for potential clients, existing clients, and the market in the established area.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in IT support, IT sales, or a similar role.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to cultivate and maintain long-term relationships.
• Previous experience with a Managed Service Provider strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Office 365.
• Proficiency with Azure and Active Directory.
• Intermediate experience with networks and servers.
• Intermediate experience with VMWare and Hyper V Virtualization.
• Solid understanding of the Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Intermediate proficiency with Windows servers 2012 through 2022.
