Job Description

Your Responsibilities Include: 

• Greet and interview consumer and business customers to determine financial needs and suggest/explain appropriate accounts, products, and financial services available.
• Respond to and research customer inquiries, investigate and correct errors, and resolve problems or other issues.
• Open new accounts, establish proper identification of new customers, assign account numbers, complete forms, and accept initial deposits.
• Prepare all documents and items pertaining to checking accounts, savings accounts, and certificates of deposits for processing.
• Process wire transfers, ACH transactions, debit card orders, address changes, and check and deposit slip orders.
• Process debit card applications, card ordering, and file maintenance.
• Receive and process stop payment and hold orders.
• Crosstrain less experienced branch personnel as needed.
• Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and processing incoming/outgoing mail as needed.

Your Requirements Include:

• High school diploma/ GED Equivalent; or 2 years of related experience (cash handling, new accounts and/or customer service background)
• Experience/knowledge in state and federal banking compliance regulations, as well as branch operation activities, terminology, and products and services.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
• Basic math skills
