Support the processing and preparation of SBA loan files for closing, funding, and post-closing requirements.
Develop and manage new loan folders and order required reports and forms.
Review entity documentation, purchase sale agreements, title commitments, etc.
Assist officers, support team, and other bank personnel in resolving loan inquiries and issues.
Deliver exceptional customer service and follow-through with customers and employees.
Respond to inquiries and refer inquiries to the appropriate department when necessary.
Assume responsibility for special projects.
Gather data and prepare reports for senior management, auditors, and others.
Assure compliance with all bank policies, procedures and processes, and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules, and regulations.
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of banking laws and SBA regulations by reading various publications and circulars and attending seminars and meetings with peers.
Requirements
Bachelors degree (BA) or equivalent from an acceptable 4-year college or university, or at least 5 years of banking experience the equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Basic knowledge of title policies and loan regulations, including RESPA, HMDA, and other lending policies on loans to directors.
Knowledge of branch operations, banking products and services, the ability to read, analyze and interpret general business information.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with experience in computer terminal and personal computer operation, word processing, spreadsheets, and specialty software programs and typing skills to meet production needs.
Intermediate math skills with the ability to calculate interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
