Job Description

A respected healthcare organization in Central New York is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join its team at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. This full-time opportunity offers multiple shift options, competitive pay, strong shift differentials, a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000, and no mandated shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Support residents with meals, mobility, positioning, transfers, and range-of-motion activities.
• Obtain and record vital signs, intake and output, and other required resident information.
• Observe residents for changes in condition, behavior, or appetite and promptly report concerns to licensed nursing personnel.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while maintaining resident dignity, comfort, and safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established care plans, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other members of the care team to provide high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications:

• Current New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) registration required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate care to elderly and/or disabled residents.
• Understanding of resident rights, safety practices, and abuse-reporting requirements.

Additional Info:

• Full-time, permanent position.
• Day shift: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, including every other weekend.
• Evening shift: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, including every other weekend.
• Night shift: 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, including every other weekend.
• Base pay: $18.50–$22.20/hour.
• Sign-on bonus: $5,000 with 1+ year of experience; $3,500 with less than 1 year of experience.
• Evening differential: 10%.
• Night differential: 25%.
• Weekend differential: Additional 10%.
• No mandated shifts.
