Job Description

A reputable healthcare system in New Hampshire is seeking an Office/Procedural Nurse to join its Cardiology team. This role offers a unique blend of hands-on procedural support, clinical triage, and patient education, with the opportunity to collaborate closely with cardiology, pulmonary, and primary care providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and interpret vital signs, pulse oximetry, spirometry, and basic diagnostic tests
  • Obtain and document cardiopulmonary, medical, and medication histories
  • Assist with and support Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEEs), Cardioversions, Stress Tests, and other cardiac diagnostic procedures
  • Triage cardiac and pulmonary concerns both in-person and over the phone, providing appropriate guidance and escalation
  • Identify and report abnormal findings, patient symptoms, or concerns to the appropriate provider
  • Cross-train and work within the Cardiac Rehabilitation Department, including monitoring patient vitals, safety, and tolerance during rehab sessions
  • Provide clear and supportive patient education related to diagnoses, medications, procedures, and follow-up care

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Active RN license.
  • Prior cardiology experience preferred

Position Details

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Monday-Friday, day shift
