A state-of-the-art Outpatient Ambulatory Surgery Center in Southern New Hampshire is seeking a skilled Part-Time Certified Surgical Technician (CST) to join its growing surgical team. Serving both adult and pediatric populations, this advanced ASC offers a variety of surgical specialties in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that prioritizes patient safety and surgical excellence.

Position Summary

The Certified Surgical Technician will work under the supervision of the operating room team to ensure a safe, sterile, and well-prepared surgical environment. This role involves preparing operating rooms, assisting during procedures, and supporting the surgical team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepares the operating room with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies for a variety of surgical specialties, including general, neuro, ortho, thoracic, bariatric, colorectal, and vascular procedures.
• Assists the surgeon and surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
• Anticipates the needs of the surgical team and adapts quickly to changing situations.
• Performs surgical counts with the circulating nurse to ensure patient safety.
• Helps clean and restock the OR following procedures and prepares for the next case.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is required.
• Prior experience in an operating room or ambulatory surgery center is required.

Position Details:

• Employment Type: Part-Time, Permanent
• Schedule: Two 10-hour shifts per week (Tuesday & Friday or Wednesday & Friday)
• $15,000 Sign-On Bonus
