A renowned hospital in Western New Hampshire is searching for a Circulating Nurse to join its Surgical Services department. The Surgical Services department incorporates several areas, including pre-op, operating room, and recovery room. The Ideal candidate will have experience in general/laparoscopic and orthopedic surgeries. Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room, including sterilizing equipment, and ensure a sterile environment.
• Assist with patient positioning, monitor the patient's condition, and provide emotional support.
• Coordinate with the surgical team, anesthesia providers, and other departments, ensuring smooth communication and efficient workflows.
• Maintain a sterile environment, adhere to surgical protocols, and ensure patient safety.
• Document all aspects of the surgical procedure, including patient information, medication administration, and surgical findings.
• Manage the flow of supplies and instruments, ensuring they are available when needed.
• Assess for transfer to the PACU and provide post-operative care instructions.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN License.
