Job Description

A highly reputable healthcare system in Massachusetts is searching for Registered Nurses for its Medical/Surgical Unit. In this role, you will be an essential patient care team member and responsible for delivering direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. You will assess symptoms, plan interventions, implement treatment plans, evaluate responses to interventions, and revise care plans based on overall effectiveness. Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and goal-directed nursing care.
• Gather and interpret data through history taking and physical assessments, and plan interventions to meet patients’ needs.
• Document care provided and the patient’s progress toward desired outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about the plan of care and how to manage their care after discharge.
• Administer medications to patients as directed.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• A BSN is preferred.
• Active RN License.

Additional information:

• Permanent position
• 24-32 hours/week
• 24 hours, 7p-7a or 11p-7a
• 32 hours, 3p-1130p, 11p-7a
• Per diem schedule available; must work 2 shifts per month
• Employees who work at least 20 hours per week are eligible for benefits!
