A highly reputable healthcare system in Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Medical/Surgical Unit. In this role, you will be a vital part of a collaborative care team, providing high-quality, patient-centered nursing care. You will use your clinical expertise to assess patient needs, develop and implement treatment plans, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care as needed. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized, goal-directed nursing care in accordance with established standards.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update patient care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document all care provided, patient responses, and progress toward goals.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and post-discharge instructions.
• Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, effective care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license

Position Details

• Full-time, permanent role
• 36 hours/week, nights
• Every 3rd weekend rotation
