A reputable healthcare system that borders beautiful Lake Ontario is searching for a Licensed Practical Nurse for its surgical scrub team. In this role, you will assist the Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, and RNs in the Operating Room and provide quality care under the general direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager. You will engage in caring relationships with patients and families, work collaboratively with other healthcare staff, and use sound judgment while performing nursing and medical interventions. Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, providing, and evaluating patient care as a member of the health care team.
• Interpret the patients’ specific requirements and adjust techniques to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Assist with the safety of surgical patients and perform routine and delegated duties.
• Communicate effectively with others and participate in decision-making.
• Responsible for patient flow and basic operational duties, including both clinical and administrative.
• Maintains a safe and sterile environment.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Active LPN License.

• Full-time, permanent position
• Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
