Job Description

A critical access hospital in Northern New Hampshire is searching for a Registered Nurse for its Operating Room. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering individualized nursing care to patients within the surgical suite and working collaboratively with the other team members to ensure the safe and accurate delivery of care. Responsibilities:

• Assist with various types of surgeries, including appendectomies, gallbladder removal, biopsies, hernia repairs, resections, GI endoscopies, colonoscopies, etc.
• Assess the needs of the patients, establish a care plan, and implement the plan to provide for the patients.
• Review the preoperative checklist with the Pre-Op RN and ensure all requirements are met before escorting patients to the OR.
• Circulate and scrub during procedures.
• Act as a patient advocate and provide individualized care based on the patient’s needs.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN License.
• 2+ years of Med/Surg or ED experience is required.

Additional info:

• Full-time or per diem, permanent position
• 8 or 12-hour shifts, days
• Pay: $35-51/hr. base, depending on experience
